Connor did play!
As any parent knows, it's great to get away for a little bit. Tom and I got away for seven days! Five of them were spent in Disney (blog to come), and two in Boston/Worcester.
I'm not going to pretend we didn't miss Connor, because we did, but he was in great hands with Mimi and Papa.
The weather is still pretty warm down here so the plants needed watering and the driveway needed sweeping. Who better to help my parents, really?
He was also Papa's big helper, packing up the Peat Moss at Home Depot, and helping him unpack it at the house, and mimicking the grunts usually associated with lifting heavy things.
Connor made a new friend, Arthur, and loved swinging with him!
Then, it was off to the Daniel Stow Botanical Gardens, where Connor met a huge spider,
some crows,
and, his favorite...pumpkins!
Connor also made me a plant, which will probably be the first plant I don't kill because that would just be plain mean.
My parents said that all in all they weren't too tired and he was really good. But, I can only believe them so much. If this is what happened when my Dad tried to take a nap everyday, I'm sure they were more tired than they let on.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Mom and Dad for taking such good care of Connor while we were gone. You made it much easier to be away knowing he was with the two of you.
Jackson makes those grunts, too. Little boys are hilarious ;)
