A Text That Made me Cry

First of all, we are so blessed with and thankful for the school that Connor attends. His teachers are beyond thoughtful, caring, and filled with love. They truly have the best interest of Connor and his friends at heart. I get really excited when they share texts with me after the day is done when Lil' C has done something remarkable; something such as this one:

"Wanted to tell you. Connor did a great job being a friend to the new boy that visited today. He built towers with him, showed him where to go for circle time, and what to do with his seat cushion. He is an awesome kid! But I'm sure you already knew that!!!" 

He makes me cry with tears of pride and joy. This is everything that makes a mama's heart happy. My one goal in life is for Tom and I to do our best to raise children with empathy, care, compassion, and love for other people. It seems like we are on the right track. Connor overwhelms me everyday with all he has to offer this world; all 2-1/2 years of him.  He is the light of my life; the apple of my eye. As a parent, you always think your son or daughter is the best thing in this world, but to hear it from other people? Well, there are just no words to explain...
