I am quite certain that Connor does not know the magnitude in which we are proud of him. He is such a sweet, kind, loveable, and confident boy. His curiousity and caring nature makes him one of a kind in our book. Connor will be going off to second grade this year. We know he will do great things. He will work hard, and C will rock it this year! Sometimes, we parents rejoice in this time when the kids are out of the house and we can have a "break." Yes, it is nice to not argue about snacks, tv, and activites all day. But, just as I am happy that the school year is starting, I also know that I would give anything to sneak into my big guy's classroom and crawl into his sporty tee with him and stay that way for the rest of the day, smelling his tangerine shampoo and nestling beside him all day long.

Yes, my little lovebug, you can do all that you want to in this lifetime. You will make it happen.
