My Other Half. My Main Squeeze. My Sanity.

What a busy, crazy, hectic, chaotic year it has been so far. I would never be able to stay afloat without my main squeeze, my partner in life, my love, Tommy. Date nights may be few and far between, but we take them any chance we get. Our time together is so important. Marriage is a two way street. It takes time and nourishment just like any other relationship. I am so proud of all we have in life,

Tommy,
Thank you for keeping me sane, respecting my need to nourish friendships, being my strength when I am weak, my giggle when I'm sad, and for letting me put my cold feet on you in the winter.  What a good team we are. I love you deeply for always and forever. xoxo

Amazing Day in Girl World

We always have so much fun when Grannie visits. Ellie waited patiently to spend her Christmas money from Grannie WITH Grannie at that girl doll store place. You may have heard of it. The first time I ever stepped foot in one was years ago with my niece. I only had Connor at the time and I'm not a big doll person. I was so overwhelmed. I thought I might puke. Oh, how times change. Oh, what I will do for my own little girl. Ellie was stoked to go there and pick out her doll and accessories with her Mommy and Grannie. We had lunch, visited the Disney store, and even Claire's. And you know what? I was all smiles. Not one ounce of nausea. Seeing my little girl as happy as a girl in a, well, girly store, made me one happy and grateful momma. Thanks for the special memories, Grannie!

Another Visitor!

What a great year it's been with people coming to visit. A visit from a sister is always the best. Tori and Sal made our weekend fantastic. We even got ourselves out for a beer and a chat. I love you Tori. Thanks for being you!

Family Portraits and Time with Bestie

When your bestie comes to visit sans kids, you know you are in for a treat! We had plans for said bestie to take our family portriats, but first, we deserved a night out to share stories over a bottle of wine. Because, well, why not?

Then she ooo and ahh-ed over the light in my bathroom and urged me to take a picture of E right then and there. So, I did as she asked.

The most beautiful thing about BWhit is her selflessness and ability to see the great light in life. She effortlessly and patiently threw these family pictures together for us. We love them and the time we got to spend with her. E asks me all the time to "push me like Becky" on the swing!

We can't wait to adorn our walls with these pictures. They are so special to us for so many reasons. Mostly, we love them because they were taken by someone very dear to us. Plus, we are now a complete party of five and our love is evident in these pictures. The only things missing are ALL of our family! Thank you so much BWhit. We love you. xoxo

Caleb's First St. Patty's Day

Don't mind if I do, buttercup. All day everyday. Smooches all around.

Caleb's First Easter

How cute is this rascally rabbit?

We had a great time playing with Easter eggs, decorating real eggs, and enjoying family time!
