Connor has been very expressive since he was born. He does some funky things with his eyebrows and this one clip really captures it all. He is going to be like his Mommy and show all emotion on his face. If he's having a bad day, there's no hiding it!! Poor lil fella...

Date Number 2
Connor and Alice sitting in a tree...
This is the second time Me, Tom, Scott, and April have gotten together with our babies. If you remember our earlier blog, Alice is 11 days older than Connor (April and I were due 3 days apart), and she and Connor met when they were only a month or two old (actually she visited him in the hospital, but that doesn't really count). It was exciting to see them both, at 4-months, a bit more alert and aware of each other. From the looks of it, I guess their chemistry was strong, because they have already started the flirty touches:
Alice is a dainty lil' thang, and, yes, Connor is 11 days younger, but, MAN! Look at those hands! Big enough for those finger rolls on the court, I tell ya...
Fun with Papa
How could Connor not love his Papa? He makes him laugh and buys him the greatest toys! Papa spoiled him with a jumperoo and Connor loves bouncing and making noises in his new toy. Thanks Papa! We love you! XOXOXOXOXO

September 23, 2005
Today is our 4th wedding anniversary and our 11th "dating" anniversary. Can you believe it? Tom and I have been together for 11 years! Holy Cow!
It doesn't seem like that long ago that Tom and I were becoming a pair at Assumption College during our freshman year in 1998.
In 2004, we got engaged at Castle Island. I have never seen Tom so nervous before!
A year later, in 2005, we were tying the knot! Our wedding was one of the most beautiful and memorable days of my life.

To this day, everytime I see Tom, my whole face shines, and I can't help but smile. He is one special guy. He has always let me be me: crazy, silly, crabby, whatever.
This anniversary is very important to the both of us because we now have Connor to share it with. I cannot begin to express what a wonderful father and husband Tommy is. From the very first day we brought Connor home, Tom has always been a hands-on dad. Not only has he put Connor's needs first, but mine as well. He always offers to do extra when he knows I had a hard day or week and doesn't think twice about it. Not many women can say they have that in their husband, and I am forever grateful that I do. He celebrates all of Connor's successes like they are his own, whether it's a huge milestone for Connor (rolling over), or something as simple as eating without a fuss.
Tom and I seem to float around the house seamlessly, knowing what the other one needs without a word. Of course, like all relationships, there are bumpy roads, but at the end of the day, it's smooth, and as cliche as it sounds, it seems that love does conquer all.
Semptember 23rd is a date that Tom and I cherish everyday, for that was the beginning of our journey. We can't wait to see where our love takes us next...

Bryan's Wedding
The wedding at Loon Mountain also gave us a great opportunity to reconnect with the newley engaged couple, Caroline and Shamus. Caroline has been one of my best friends since the 3rd grade and Shamus was Tom's college roommate for a few years, so seeing them together and happy made us smile. They are in their own little love bubble and are so adorable!
We also got to hang out with Ryan, who most of you may know as "Deucy" and his girlfriend, Kate.
Time may go by, but many things stay the same, like the stories, laughs, and good times that were shared by all...

First Airplane Ride!
Our flight was at 6:12, but was delayed due to rain until 7. So, we were on the plane by 6:45 and heading to the runway, when the pilot came on to say that we were delayed on the turmac because the presidents were flying in to Boston for Kennedy's funeral, and that we wouldn't be leaving the runway for another 2 HOURS!! Tom and I looked at each other, then to to Connor, wondering what to do. Well, the poor kid needed to eat (I was saving his bottle for take off per recommendation of all moms I know), so he ate, then slept the whole entire time afterwards. What a good little flyer he is!
I wish I took a picture of him on the plane, but we were so disoriented and distraced that all I got were Connor in the airport, but it will have to do, because we are not traveling anytime again soon!
