Hello, New Adventure!

We have all been MIA as of late. Moving with two little kids in tow is no joke! As much as we are sad to leave our neighbors, we have been loving every second of our new neighborhood and house! We took full advantage this past weekend, and spent some time walking through one of many trails, where we found a treehouse, rope swing, and a tree teepee. After crunching through the leaves, we played some more and then walked down the street to have dinner. The walkability reminds me of Natick, and therefore, makes me as happy as a pig in mud! Here are some pictures. We have A LOT of work to do...

The basketball hoop...ah.

This culdesac is the play place for the kids. Tons of kids!

Trying to put our stamp on it.

And this, my friends, is our formal dining room that is about to be transformed! I can't wait to blog the finished product!

French doors to our office!

I am in love with these windows, and partly why I fell in love with this house.

Kids area off the kitchen for now.

To our guests, you will have your very own veranda! hehe. Come one, come all! (p.s. The guest closet is plenty big enough for a pack and play...just sayin)

Connor's room (unfinished product)
 Our room (very very unfinished!)
That's it. Ellie's napping, so no pictures of her room. We love it. We can't wait to make our family memories here.

Bye Bye Seamill

It's time we said "goodbye" to our old house and "hello" to the new one! We will always be thankful for our house on Seamill Road. The friends we made, the memories we shared, and life that was lived there can never be replaced or forgotten.

This floor was resilient to the nightly races, games of "boo," and car driving... We only hope that the next family has as much fun here as we did...
 Our mailing address no longer!
Ellie twirled like a little ballerina using this swing in the front yard.
This is the grass where Connor took his first steps!

Yes, we said "goodbye" to our first house down south, but now we are onto a new adventure!

Preschool!

Yes. Ellie is only 2. Yes. Ellie has started Preschool already. Yes. We are both loving it! I completely enjoy watching my children become their own little persons. There is a minute when I get a twinge of sadness or nostalgia during these times of transitions, but they always end in a smile. A smile for my alone time. A smile for their independence. A smile and a prayer for the beautiful life that they will create for themselves. Yes. I sent Eliana to Preschool a little bit earlier (and feel a little guilty) than Connor, but she is so ready! We are starting to find our back-to-school groove as our awesome family of 4. Ellie is a pistol, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Eliana is 2!

I guess it's true what they say: "Sugar and Spice, and everything nice. That's what little girls are made of." Ellie is a true girly girl right now. She loves all things Minnie Mouse, pink, purple, bows, tutus, you name it! Her Minnie's "Bow-tique" party turned out fantastic! We are so thankful for our little village of people nearby.

Twirling

"Tenderness of God is twirling around
In our living room tonight
Lighten up your daddy's eyes
And know that he just wants to freeze you in time"
-Elliana by Watermark

I've been waiting for this moment. Our little girl enjoying life; twirling, swirling, jumping, singing, and dancing.
Ellie is one of a kind. We are so glad she's ours.

What's Cookin' Good Lookin'?

The baker is in! We made chocolate chip muffins. Ellie had fun. This apron is circa 1983. It's cloth is filled with memories of cooking with MY Mimi, sweeping the floor for  $.25, and dancing on her feet in the kitchen.

People often say that Eliana is a mini-me. In some ways, I am happy of that, but in others, well, we all have our flaws, right? Grab life by the horns lil' girl. Smile, cheer, and stay joyful.
