Goofy Easter

Caleb's first Easter brought out the goofy in us. What a special time to spend with our loved ones. There were lots of hugs, bubbles, and silly faces to be had. Family rocks. 

When Good Friends Visit

There's nothing better than having good friends come and visit. Heck, we LOVE visitors! Even if we aren't good friends, come on down. haha. Bethany and her guys came down for a great chunk of time. The kids played outside all day everyday. We went on adventures at the Whitewater Center, ate ice cream, and Leo had some great QT with baby Caleb. They even had their first Chick-Fil-A experience. I hope y'all want to come visit us again! We sure were sad when you left. 

Caleb is 6 Months!

How insane is it that half a year has come and gone? I love when my babies turn 6-months old. They are more independant, they sit up, and they are way more interactive. Oh and I don't have to carry around the heavy bucket seat anymore!  It is so cool to see Caleb watch and talk to his older brother and sister. They are instant entertainment. He is a little guy with a contagious smile. He is a socializer and explorer. We better watch out! 

Tiny Dancer

April 23, 2016 marked Elianas first dance recital. I don't know if it will be her first and last or if she's just getting started. What I do know is that seeing our little girl tap and twirl on stage was magical. My heart was so happy that day! She was showered with flowers from Daddy, Mimi and Papa, and even her baby friend Thomas who we met out for dinner afterwards. I may be partial, but that twinkle in her eye and little pitter-patter step sure is beautiful. We are so proud of what Ellie has accomplished during her dance class, and can't wait to see what else she will do in her life. 

Keep on smiling and dancing our little old soul. We love you. 

Caleb is Four Months Old

Man, time flies when you are sleep deprived having fun! It's hard to believe Caleb is now 4 months old. So much has happened! He rolls over both ways, he's eating baby food, and is learning to sit up pretty well! Caleb is such a happy baby. I feel like I'm getting attached to him just as much as he is attached to me! He now weighs over 16 pounds, and is almost 26 inches long! The poor guy had his shots yesterday, so he's a little happy and a little sad today, but we are snuggling as much as possible. And, finally, he has slept through the night the past two nights! Let's hope this is not a fluke...

We love your giggles and smiles baby boy. Keep 'em coming! 

Caleb Thomas is One Month!

Holy cow. That month flew by! We survived! Our littlest man has turned one month today! The doctor was pleased with his 2lb. weight gain (10 lb. 6oz.), and his one inch gain in length. She was also very surprised at how alert Caleb is, and said his head strength is very strong. "He is going to be an early roller!" she mentioned. Our days go by fast, our nights are long, and our minds are a little chaotic, but I think we are all hanging in quite nicely. The kids love their little brother. I'm excited to see them interact more and more as the weeks go by. 

 Caleb didn't like sitting very much, I guess! 

We love you baby boy. You have definitely made life just THAT much more interesting for us!

Caleb Thomas has arrived!

The third child. The one whose pregancy/baby book was filled in a week before he arrived. I still have yet to include his sonogram pictures. I will get with it one of these days. For now, here he is folks! Our shock of a blessing has arrived. He is growing overnight, it seems. His one month appointment is on Monday, so we are looking forward to seeing how our lil' monkey has grown! We were definitely shocked and not sure about adding a 3rd baby to our team, but now that he's here, we couldn't imagine anything else. The big kids love him to pieces and want to hold him, hug him and kiss him every chance they get. Tom and I are surviving. We are as tired as can be, but Caleb Thomas has definitely made this family feel complete. The man upstairs sure knows how to mess with your plans, but they always work out for the best.
