28 Weeks!

Tom and I waited 12 weeks to tell family and friends our great news about being pregnant. When I think of how fast that first trimester went by, I am flabergasted to think how quickly these next 12 weeks will go by as well, although, it feels like time is just inching by.

28 Weeks marks the beginning of the third trimester. I feel so blessed to have had an easy breezy pregnancy thus far, and can only hope it continues as so. Of course, I have some of the usual symptoms, such as back pain here and there, trouble sleeping, the never ending chocolate craving, and a digestive issue I'd rather not discuss (as I'm sure you would rather not read about), but all in all, pregnancy has been splendid.

My only wish is that as a first-time expecting mother, I would like to enjoy this pregnancy as much as I should, but being the worry wart that I am, enjoying it has been my biggest challenge. Is the baby kicking as much as he or she should? Am I eating healthy enough? Why does everyone seem suprised I am 28 weeks...should I look different? Am I drinking enough water?

Yes, 12 weeks seems more like 40 more weeks away, but Tom and I are trying to take it one day at a time and enjoy each other's company before the two of us become three...
