Oooohh...Ahhhh...

I traveled to Sturbridge, Mass. to my parents house March 8th for my baby shower. Besides feeling tremendous joy and happiness to see my family and friends, I was overwhelmed by everybody's generosity. To be honest, I was expecting lots of gift cards seeing as though that is an easy gift for somebody who lives an airplane ride away. But, what I found out was that people like to buy baby things, and I am grateful for everything. Besides the gender neutral green, cream, and yellow, Tom was very happy to see lots (and I mean lots) of Patriots and Red Sox paraphenelia for our lil' one. My mom even got me a maternity Red Sox shirt that I can't wait to wear to the Beantown Pub here in Charlotte on opening day!Don't worry New England, we will be representing!

Some of the greatest joys in my life are my friends, and I can't even explain how happy I was to see each and every one of them.

There are four moms in my special group, Melanie, Becky, Shauna, and Bethany, who always have wonderful and useful advice for me as a new mom-to-be. Thanks girls!
