Nursery Rhymes

We  finally finished our baby's nursery. We had some help from Papa Bellofatto and we love it. There are still some things we want to add to the room, but for now, it's looking pretty good. We do want to add a splash of pink or blue once the baby comes, so it's still a work in progress.

I had a lot of fun putting the baby's clothes, pj's, diapers, etc. away. I can't believe these tiny little things are going to fit our lil' one, but I guess they will (for a short period of time).

Even Sox was getting in on the action! Of course he was. He is a very nosy/curious cat. In fact, we found him in the crib today!

I know the baby is not supposed to sleep with bumpers, blankets, or stuffed animals. All of those will go away once he or she is in the crib, so no worries! 

My mom and went shopping while the guys painted the nursery so I wouldn't inhale the toxic fumes, but Tommy and I did get to spend some quality time together painting the dots on the wall. We wanted to add our own personal touch and we think these did the job!

Sidenote: The paint is NOT pink. It is a khaki color that just happens to look pink in the pictures!

As the days go by, we are getting more and more anxious and excited to meet our new baby. We often find ourselves sitting in the glider reading a book, or just hangin out in his or her room. There is a sense of relaxation, joy, and anticipation that we find ourselves drawn to in here.
