First Airplane Ride!

Two weeks ago was our first family trip up to Boston. We are so proud of Connor because he did so well on the play both ways! Going up north, Tom and I were pretty nervous, but Connor wasn't at all, it seemed. He even made a friend, James, at the airport:



Our flight was at 6:12, but was delayed due to rain until 7. So, we were on the plane by 6:45 and heading to the runway, when the pilot came on to say that we were delayed on the turmac because the presidents were flying in to Boston for Kennedy's funeral, and that we wouldn't be leaving the runway for another 2 HOURS!! Tom and I looked at each other, then to to Connor, wondering what to do. Well, the poor kid needed to eat (I was saving his bottle for take off per recommendation of all moms I know), so he ate, then slept the whole entire time afterwards. What a good little flyer he is!

I wish I took a picture of him on the plane, but we were so disoriented and distraced that all I got were Connor in the airport, but it will have to do, because we are not traveling anytime again soon!
