Today is our 4th wedding anniversary and our 11th "dating" anniversary. Can you believe it? Tom and I have been together for 11 years! Holy Cow!

It doesn't seem like that long ago that Tom and I were becoming a pair at Assumption College during our freshman year in 1998. 

In 2004, we got engaged at Castle Island. I have never seen Tom so nervous before!

A year later, in 2005, we were tying the knot! Our wedding was one of the most beautiful and memorable days of my life. 

To this day, everytime I see Tom, my whole face shines, and I can't help but smile. He is one special guy. He has always let me be me: crazy, silly, crabby, whatever.

This anniversary is very important to the both of us because we now have Connor to share it with. I cannot begin to express what a wonderful father and husband Tommy is. From the very first day we brought Connor home, Tom has always been a hands-on dad. Not only has he put Connor's needs first, but mine as well. He always offers to do extra when he knows I had a hard day or week and doesn't think twice about it. Not many women can say they have that in their husband, and I am forever grateful that I do. He celebrates all of Connor's successes like they are his own, whether it's a huge milestone for Connor (rolling over), or something as simple as eating without a fuss.

Tom and I seem to float around the house seamlessly, knowing what the other one needs without a word. Of course, like all relationships, there are bumpy roads, but at the end of the day, it's smooth, and as cliche as it sounds, it seems that love does conquer all. 

Semptember 23rd is a date that Tom and I cherish everyday, for that was the beginning of our journey. We can't wait to see where our love takes us next...
