THE SIPPY CUP! As all new moms do, I was perusing "What to Expect the First Year," and came across the chapter on the sippy cup. I had no idea that, at 5 months, I should be introducing it to Connor. He doesn't even hold his own bottle yet, let alone a sippy cup! But, he did and has been grasping the concept ever since.
He is growing in so many ways that I am just now realizing the phrase, "enjoy him because it goes by so fast." Everybody told me that, but it was so hard to believe, and now I am longing for the first few months of holding and cuddly my baby boy. At the same time, however, Connor is showing us how smart, strong, and loving he is becoming (love those open mouth baby kisses!), and we couldn't be more happy for him, and us...
