Christmas...hmm...changed my mind...It's now titled 29 Morse St.

Connor's first Christmas was so much fun! To tell you the truth, I was obviously very excited about spending Christmas with our little munchkin this year but was feeling a little homesick for everyone back "home." Don't get me wrong. I am so thankful for all that we have here in NC, my Mom and Dad, and even Mark and Kristen, who visited for the holiday! However, there is always a part of me that gets nostalgic for the way things used to be. This blog was supposed to be about Connor's first Christmas with lots of pictures of him and his Christmas "stuff," but I have a better idea. As I write, my mind is wandering to 29 Morst Street. I think it would be best to offer a little tribute.
29 Morse started out as Mimi and Papa's house, then it was Papa's house, then it was my house. Regardless of who resided in it, 29 Morse was always a house filled with so much love and laughter, from the tiny little stained glass window upstairs all the way down to the cold and musty basement.
The door was always open to friends and family and thus 29 Morse was loaded with such. I couldn't ask for as many blessings as we have down here: our little man, my parents, our beautiful house, caring, kind, and fun friends and neighbors. As lucky as we are, my mind still wanders and it wanders into the back door, through the mudroom and to the kitchen of 29 Morse Street.
