This November 26th marked Connor's first Thanksgiving. We trekked all 8 hours to Pennsylvania to visit Tom's brother, Jimmy, his wife, Andie and our niece and nephew, Sydney and Alex. Connor was an amazing little baby in the car. We were so pleasantly suprised. He napped and ate like clockwork, which was nice.
Thanksgiving Day morning was our big day. We ran our first family Turkey Trot (5K). I must admit to feeling a little emotional as I crossed the finish line. The sense of accomplishment of running a 5K with the help and support of Tom and Connor was a little overwhelming, and I am so proud of all of us for making it through!

The best part was seeing the love and admiration for our little guy in Sydney (9) and Alex (4). They were so happy and excited for their little cousin to visit. I also like to think they were happy to see me and Tom, too...
Alex adored Connor. He was cleaning up all the "little parts" to his toys all week!

Sydney made Connor laugh like crazy!

Although Connor could not eat the turkey yet, he sure was tuckered out come Thanksgiving Day night, just like the rest of us. He fell asleep amongst the family filled living room while eating his bottle and was out like a light.

We are so thankful for our baby boy. He has brought us so much joy, happiness, and elation. We are grateful for the family and friends God has given us in our life. It is these holiday times that we wish we were all together, but it is in our hearts that we are fully connected, plus, the webcam rocks! ;p
Looks like you guys had a great Thanksgiving. I love watching cousins interact. Happy 1st Turkey Day Connor
