Happy 30th Tom!

Tom turned 30 on January 17th. It's nice to be married to an older man. Ha! Anyways, we spent his birthday in New Hampshire, as we have been doing for 10 years now. 10 years! Can you believe it's been that long since our first venture up North? We always have so much fun with our closest friends during this weekend. It's a time spent with cold drinks, a warm fireplace, and endearing friendships. Our weekend is taken up with many memorable stories of years past, laughter, love, and, did I mention cold drinks? Hmm...That pretty much sums it up!
Besides Mr. Frosty up there, I made koozies this year in remembrance of Tom's 30th and what might be the last year all of us are together up there. We hope to share the house with our friends for many years to come, but life gets hectic for everybody as we get older, and I wanted everybody to have a little memory of all the fun that was made up in NH.
Tom's birthday is always a great time for me because it reminds me of just how long we have been together. It will be 12 years since our first encounter. Incredible, huh? It was 12 years ago that we met in our freshman year English class at Assumption College. Tom's birthday will forever remind me of years past when we were college sweethearts. It will forever remind me of our first kiss. It will forever remind me of our ups and our downs. It will forever remind me of just how old we really are, but every time I look into his kind hazel eyes, I will forever remember the exact moment in which we said "I love you," and for that, he will always be a 19-year-old boy to me, the love of my life, the best father our little boy could ever have.
I love you Tommy! XOXO Always, Dawnie Bee :)
