9 Months

The term "9 Months" always brings to mind a full-term pregnancy, right? So, imagine my suprise when someone asks me how old Connor is and I say, "9 months." 9 months! Really? As I look down at my "flat-to-me-because-I-am-not-pregnant-now" belly. It made me look back at the 9 months I was pregnant and reminisce. The weirdest thing is looking back at all the ultrasound pictures and seeing Connor in there instead of our "little bean," as he was called.

For instance, here is Connor at just 12 weeks:

He does this with his hands, still, when he is getting sleepy:

And, I'm not kidding, he sleeps on his side JUST like this, sometimes!

And, here we both are at 9 months and waiting. Little did Tom and I know that there was a sweet little baby boy in there:

Connor's 9 month doctor's appointment was so wonderful. She said, "He is doing unusually well."

Stats:
Weight: 22 lbs. 5 oz.
Height: 28 inches
75% in each category

Some of Connor's new things are holding a bottle

walking with assistance

drinking out of a straw cup

and eating lots of different finger foods:

Some of his favorites include mini pancakes, Yo Baby! yogurt, toast with hummus or cheese, shredded cheese, peas, carrots, eggs, and, of course, Cheerios.

It seems Connor is also finding his sense of humor. We make each other laugh and he is becoming my little buddy more everyday. He's a smart and handsome little fella and we can't believe he will be one in 3 short months!!
