Long ago, I booked a flight into Boston WICKED cheap...49 bucks each way or something ridiculous like that. It was a "friend" weekend, and it was much needed. Diana and Tim were wonderful hosts and so kind to bring me in for the weekend. Their condo in Southie is very welcoming, warm, and, since Di does live there, cute!
Friday night, I reconnected with some Assumption pals at Grendel's in Cambridge. It was fantastic to see that everybody was healthy and happy. Some girls are still in Grad school, while others are taking spontaneous excersions around the world and back, or just hanging tight and enjoying love, life, and laughter before turning 30!
Saturday was a much anticipated day on my part. I drove to Natick to spend the day and night with Bethany (my "sister") and her two adorable children, Leo and Henry.
I got to see the Natick Collection, Hewitt, and Tori too! We went to The Chateau in Dedham, had lots of laughs, and ended up at Fairway for some late night bowling.
I even made it to Lindsay's 30th Birthday Party (80's style)!
BTW, Ester was the cutest 80's girl I had ever seen!
Then Sunday came...it was the infamous St. Patty's Day Parade in Southie. That's always a fun time, right? Well...right, but...it's not so great when it is downpouring, and I do mean, why-don't-I-walk-6-blocks-while-the-wind-and-rain-whip-at-my-face-and-soak-me-to-my-bones-downPOURING!
But, it was still really fun. The day started out with brunch at Tim and Diana's.
After that, I trekked to Courtney's condo to see her cute lil' pregnant belly, Jessica, and Barda.
Bonding time with Tim, Diana, and their friends was a WICKED pissah way to unwind. Thanks guys!
And, although I loved every minute of waking up late and getting out of bed whenever I felt like it, coming home to Tom and Connor was awesome. I missed them both so much...
