As I mentioned in my Easter blog, Connor has been taking some steps here and there. It is a very exciting milestone both for he and us! We are so proud of him every time he walks his way towards one of us, and, in turn, he squeals with delight. It's mesmerizing to watch a 10 1/2 month old trying with all his might to do something as simple as walking. It's equally awesome to see how proud he is of himself for doing such a thing! It's as if he knows what he is doing is going to make his life a lot easier...easier to run away from Mommy...easier to catch Sox...easier to play with Daddy...
It's been almost a week since his first steps and today he has shown much interest in walking on his own. It's not just a game anymore, going from me to Tom and vice versa. It's a means to an end. He actually WANTS to walk. Everyday, more and more steps are taken, and pretty soon crawling is going to be a thing of the past.
