Apples

After 21 months, I've decided that it's time to let Connor make some of his own decisions in life. He gets to choose from two different shirts and socks in the morning, what toys he wants to play with, what books to read, etc, etc. I even give him choices for food.

Me: "Connor, what would you like for breakfast this morning?"
C: "ooo-t (fruit)"
Me: "Connor, what would you like for lunch?"
C: "ooo-t"
Me: "Connor, what would you like for dinner tonight?"
C: "app-le"

"Cheese!"

Ok, obviously, this little boy loves fruit, and has it with every meal! If it were his choice (well, it is, isn't it?), he would eat fruit and only fruit everyday. Well, imagine his happiness when I decide to give him an apple after dinner-a whole peeled apple! His little fingers snatched it up like it was a new adventure. We also got to play a brief game of "What's this?"
