Family weeknights are far and few between now that I started my new job a couple of months back. I usually work 2-3 nights a week until 9, and on the days I don't work, Tom usually doesn't get home until 6 or so, leaving very little time for the three of us to hang out. On this rare night that Tom got home at 5, we were able to eat dinner together, and goof around before bedtime. It was great family time that I hope keeps happening. It is my greatest joy when the three of us are together-when I can see Connor and Tom are in their finest moments, giggling, smiling, playing tag, tackling and tickling each other. It makes me happy. And, apparently, Connor thinks it's pretty swell when we have family time too.
