Sometimes words just aren't enough to explain love.
It transcends in you to a place where it finds comfort and stays forever, never having to be explained.
Yet, Tom always finds a way to show and tell Connor and I just how much he loves us. A lot of the time it's by doing something so simple, like quietly gathering all the garbage for "trash" day, or clearing the dishes from the table while I get Connor cleaned up. It's the loving squeeze on my leg telling me that he is there next to me, or scooping up our little boy and bringing him upstairs while I get some cooking or cleaning done. Tom spends mostly every night giving Connor a bath, reading him his books, and putting him to sleep. He looks forward to Saturdays when I am at work, and he and his best bud get to spend the whole day together.
Tom is a quiet man: so funny, sweet, kind, patient, loving, respectful, determined, and attentive. He is the perfect role model for our son, and Connor and I couldn't thank him enough for everything he does for our family.
