Charlotte made history this year! The city hasn't had a White Christmas since 1947. It came down last night just before 7pm, and gave us a good couple of inches to play in this morning.
Tom was gracious enough to let me sleep in this morning, and as soon as I walked downstairs, it was, "When are you going to finish your coffee so we can go outside?" I started wondering how many children I had. Two, if you count my husband and his 1& 1/2 year old-like glee to be seeing snow. I moseyed on upstairs, bundled up, and came down to two very anxious generations waiting so patiently for us to all go play outside.
We built a very small"Frosty,"
had a snowball fight,
and even attempted to sled down our hill. When that didn't work too well, the snow covered slide seemed like the next best thing.
I don't know who had more fun, us or Connor, but I do know that we had a very magical Christmas weekend. It was one that we will always remember and cherish as our first Southern White Christmas.
