All of our blogs have been written by new Momma Dawn Marie, so I thought a change of pace and writing my own blog would be nice, to get a different perspective.
Life has definitely changed for us with the addition of Connor to our family. My little man, Lil C, keeps us quite busy, but I wouldn't change a thing. The feeling of holding him while he sleeps in my arms is incredible, and something I will never forget. I cherish those moments.
He has good nights and bad nights, but overall, I think he is a perfect Little Man! I really miss him now that I started back to work, so it makes those middle of the night feedings even more special.
I am luck in many ways, but mostly because I have an amazing wife and Connor the best mother. Dawn's instant transition from wife to mother is amazing to watch. She is so patient, nuturing, and loving, you would think she had done this before. Sure there are some tough times, but that is totally expecting being a first time mother. But if these first three weeks are any indications, Dawn will be winning the mother of the year award very soon.
I've already begun teaching Connor baseball, all of the positions, and all of the Sox players. We have watched a few games together, although his attention span is usually limited to a inning or so. I am already working on his arm strength and working his rotater cuff. And in a few months, we will begin going over football!!
Typical Tom, always trying to one-up my husband! You are right though, Connor is awesome and Dawn is a fantastic mother!
