Connor turned one month old the other day, and what a day it was! Mimi came down to visit for a few days, and thank God she did! She spent lots of quality time with her "little babushka" feeding him, snuggling, and even taking over the night feedings for Tom and I so we could catch some shut eye.
She was also there for him when his mommy had to spend a few hours in the ER. That's right, folks, I was sent to the ER via ambulance with severe upper abdominal pain. It was seriously worse than anything I have ever felt in my life; even worse than childbirth. It turns out it was a gallbladder attack, and I am ok, but I may need to get my gallbladder taken out down the road.
Good thing Connor is a cutie and I love him to pieces, because he is putting his mother through the ringer! When I see this face, though, how can I complain, really?
