Who Are You?

One of me and Tom's biggest concerns before having Connor was Sox. We weren't exactly sure how he would handle the new addition. You see, Sox was our baby for a year and a half, and he knew it too. We played fetch (yes, fetch), snuggled, and rubbed his little chin like crazy. He is a fiesty little thing and likes to play with anything that moves (he also has been known to bite a little too). So, we were hesitant to bring Connor home to such a curious and insanely loved cat. The first day we brought Connor home, Sox sniffed, as any animal does, and kind of just walked away. He really wanted nothing to do with Connor, except, of course, for his toys (stuffed animals are a favorite). I do have to say that I feel pretty bad for him, as he is being overlooked quite a bit, but when I am baby-free, I offer for him to come snuggle and he refuses, so it's really his own fault!

Now, he is getting closer to the baby, and has even  snuggled with us in the middle of the night as I fed Connor.

Here, Connor was enjoying a little fun time with Daddy, and Sox was getting in on it too (cautiously, I might add).

  1. He is really keeping his distance but I bet they become good friends--until Connor can pull his ears, tail, and whiskers! :)
